MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

The Kanji Project gives assistance with medical fees for the very poor. This might be for pain releif for someone suffering from a terminal illness, regular medication for a diabetic, or a prosthetic leg for an amputee. These costs are way beyond the means of the poorest people.

The bills for the medical treatment are paid directly to the doctor or the hospital. Beneficiaries are selected on the basis of need.

Trying to meet the costs of medical treatment is one of the things that keeps people in poverty.
