CRAFT CENTRE
Since 1996 there has been a craft centre at St Antony's. The centre is equipped with sewing machines.
Many uneducated teenagers and young adults have little hope of employment. Between 40 and 50 students are taught sewing and basket work each year and it has been a great success. Ninety five percent of the students have gone on to set up their own small businesses or to work in clothing factories.
Once they have done their apprenticeship, they can earn their living to support their families and themselves.
